Worst, the worst I say. Literally the worst customer support I have ever dealt with. We moved into our new house, having ordered NBN 3 weeks before the moving date and it was only connected a month after we moved in. I'm currently on their live chat trying to resolve a separate billing issue I'm now onto my third "assistant" and been waiting 30mins for him to "pull up my account".
Oh, and he got my name wrong! Pulling my hair out here!! Optus deserves a 0 star! I was told different and wrong information and all they keep saying is I need to reset it!! I was promised 25Gb and never got it until I keep messaging them then I had to go through a manager who only gave me 11Gb!!
Worst internet provider I have been with and the workers are just as bad!! They never reply or get back to you and they just keep charging you money for nothing. Will never use optus again and will not recommend them to anyone. After 6 calls and at least an hour on hold for each and 3 complaints, my problem is now, 3 weeks later, still not resolved. Never a supervisor available. Hands down the most appalling service I ever encountered. They are DUMB.

Cant even load a single video without having to wait hours for it to actually play. I am sick and tired of Optus and pathetic internet service that they provide.

All I wanted to do was try to sort out activating my Sim card which I've done online even got an order number and mobile number and waited a long time for it to be activated but hadn't come through.
I've restarted my device couple times and still nothing. I call every number of Optus customer service on the internet even the ones given on this forum and it's always a computer either telling me to go online to sort it out myself or my phone hasn't been activated! Why is it such a difficult process to simply activate a Sim?
